Established by Gareth & Stephanie Jones in 2016, Wynmère has become a sought-after location for boutique luxury weddings and events.

Purchased as untouched pastoral land, the Joneses set about creating formal French Parterre-style gardens that, a few years on, have grown to span five magnificent acres. Every element of the Estate was considered in intricate detail, from the changing seasons and movement of the sun to the positioning of garden rooms and architectural features, creating beautiful perspectives and photo opportunities throughout the year. As the gardens took shape, so too did the surrounding buildings. Drawing heavily on traditional English Georgian architecture, the Estate brings together European influences and the natural beauty of the Tamborine Mountain hinterland.

The first wedding, then held under the original name 'The Grounds Estate', took place on the property in August 2023. Since then, Wynmère has continued to evolve, with each addition thoughtfully considered to complement the original vision. Today, the Estate brings together its formal gardens, Georgian-inspired residence, reception hall, glasshouse and open-air Atrium, creating an intimate setting for celebrations that feel both timeless and distinctly personal. What began as a piece of untouched land has become a true labour of love, with the Joneses continuing to refine and care for the property.

In 2020, the arrival of Rocky, a much-loved rescue Cavoodle, meant the residence became home to a family of three. The Joneses love sharing their Estate with guests, whether they are couples celebrating one of life's most meaningful occasions, their family and friends, garden enthusiasts or food lovers. Above all, they hope that everyone who visits Wynmère feels a little of the warmth, character and care that has gone into creating it.
