Hello May
These two put the ‘sweet’ in high school sweethearts. Bianca and Josh have been together since their final year of school, but they were friends long before coupling up – in fact they met in Year 3! Symbolising their unique love story, their day in the Gold Coast hinterland was full of sentimental and ultra-romantic details as well as a whole lotta wow factor, when the bride chopped her locks off mid-reception. Yes girl!
Having worked in the wedding industry themselves (they owned a photography biz for five years) Bianca and Josh had witnessed their fair share of nuptials, so it’s no wonder these newlyweds had a shortlist of vendors ready to go “from day dot”.

Qld Brides
For an aesthetic that remains forever en pointe at a Queensland wedding (or any wedding, for that matter), you can’t go wrong with black and white accented by garden-fresh green. Think elegant white bridal gown, crisp black tux, and abundant fresh greenery and soft white blooms. Classic.
This styled shoot brings the palette to life while evoking the spirit of a Tuscan romance at Tamborine Mountain’s Wynmère Estate. We’re also smitten with the elegant Gold Coast hinterland locale and obsessed with the exquisite details. Seriously, that stationery!! Ebony Reid, director and photographer at ZALI Photo and Film, talks us through this European-inspired soirée …

Polka Dot Bride
Romance is on our minds all the time around these parts, so a romantic editorial set at a brand new, beautiful county estate? It’s right up our alley!
The beautiful new Mount Tamborine venue Wynmère Estate was a pretty perfect backdrop for model Tahlia Winter‘s concept. A vision of spring beauty that is understated and simple, holding the beauty in the blooms. “The style of this shoot was all about showcasing the magic of a spring wedding but in an intimate and pared back way and still having that “wow” factor.” She explains “Spring can be an overwhelming time for a wedding as there are so many flowers in season. This shoot shows that you can still have all the elements of a classic wedding, but with colour and without it being in your face and taking away from the couple.”
